After several months of planning, multiple trips to IKEA we were finally ready: our general contractor had finished the tear-down,new hardwood floor had been installed. And then it just hit us... the kitchen room was in the old part of the ranch house with what you could call crooked walls and a floor not really level. My wife and I had to come to terms with the fact that trying to install the cabinets was going to be too big of a job for us. After several frantic calls trying to find an installer we found Steven. Right away we felt conformable: we were not talking to some kind of middle-men company booking jobs but to someone who obviously was actually doing kitchen install. A couple of days later we were back on track: Steven and his crew did an outstanding job installing the cabinets and making sure the end-results looked like the design we had in mind. Seeing the McCrossin crew in action made think that letting the job to a professional like Steven was the best call I made.

When my husband and I decided that we wanted to redo our kitchen we had a very difficult time finding good contractors who were will willing to do the work. We received Steve’s name from our flooring contractor that was using Steve to remodel his own kitchen so we gave him a call. He was very prompt to return our call and was able to provide a general estimate within a few hours upon receiving our pictures. Steve and his nephew came to our condo on time and began the process of tearing out the wall and old kitchen. I cannot begin to say to how grateful I am that Steve took the job. The project was larger than we expected and there were numerous challenges structurally as well as with the existing plumbing and electrical.  Steve addressed them all with creativity and resourcefulness while keeping the project on time and within budget.  We will not hesitate to call Steve again when we are ready for our next home improvement project.

Steve did an excellent job installing the Abstrakt High Gloss White Ikea kitchen cabinetry in our Midtown Atlanta renovation.  In fact, the entire set was initially installed incorrectly by another installer, and Steve was able to remove and perfectly re-install it.  We were so happy with the Ikea product and Steve's professionalism and efficiency, we decided to use Ikea cabinetry in the master bathroom and walk-in closets, all with outstanding results.  Steve is friendly, detail-oriented, and a very hard worker...he was even there with a smile on his face until 11pm a few nights!

You know that moment on HGTV called the “Big Reveal’ when the home owner comes through the door and just breaks down crying, well mostly the women do, I had one of those moments. No, I did not start crying, but to this day I sit in that kitchen play with all the light switches and just smile. I’ve heard horror stories about contractors, but working with Steven was such a joy, I think those stories are just fairy tales.  The professionalism shown in the finished product was a given, because I’ve seen some of those showroom kitchens at IKEA that his company builds, but it was the little things. The timeliness, the respect for rest of the home, the clean up after the job was completed, the fair pricing and the attention to detail was something I thought was impossible. Hiring Steven and his company was the best money ever spent, and I would highly recommend to him and his company to anyone. The best part about working with Steven, everything was not an emergency that deserved a phone call, when problems popped up he solved them, he was a real professional and a nice honest guy. From start to finish, we must have spoken about five times on the phone. Oh sorry, I forgot to tell you, I lived in New Jersey at the time, and Steven did this job in Stone Mountain Georgia.
